Consultant & Director (Events)

Adrian Mok

An accomplished athlete in endurance sports, Adrian Mok has represented Singapore in the triathlon and Ironman races, and was part of the team from Singapore that took on the Eco Challenge in Fiji in 2002, commonly regarded as the toughest race on Earth.

As an entrepreneur, Adrian is the Founder and Managing Director of HiVelocity, a local sports outfit that brings sporting concepts and events to Singapore. Adrian was first to bring the Aviva Ironman 70.3 to Singapore in 2007, overcoming many obstacles to turn it into one of the city’s most spectacular sports events.  He also conceptualised the first night marathon in Singapore in 2008.  Now the largest night race in Asia, The Sundown Marathon has since expanded to four other cities in Asia.

In 2017, he launched Runnerdotes, a compilation of short stories of local runners in the Sundown Marathon to inspire people to overcome their psychological, emotional and physical inhibitions to achieve their personal goals.

Adrian has first-hand experience leading teams in marketing, sales and distribution.  He was the General Manager and Regional Area Sales Manager for Polar Electro, and expanded their sales distribution across the Asia Pacific region, growing sales by 400% in the first two years.

Adrian is a graduate in Business Marketing from Nanyang Technological University, and holds a graduate diploma in Exercise and Nutrition Science from the University of Liverpool. He was awarded NSman of the Year in 2015, a prestigious award by the President of Singapore, for his outstanding commitment and performance in national service.
